REVELATION

Our minds will either receive revelation or reject it. It will also be the same for deception. We can receive it or reject it. Everyone that hears the name of Jesus Christ preached, with will have the opportunity to encounter both conditions. In the Garden of Eden, the Bible says that Adam knew what he was doing when He rejected what God had told him, but Eve was deceived. 1Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. When someone hears about Jesus, Holy Spirit will convict the person, and they will have to make a decision. What they have done, with what they hear, what they study, and what they believe, will give them opportunities for either receiving revelation or rejecting it. Revelation and what they do with it is what will give them the ability to live in a manner chosen by God, one chosen by the devil, or somewhere in between. It will also make a difference in what they do for God. Deception is what will keep them from receiving revelation and being able to live the way God has chosen for them to live. The Bible says that the devil has blinded the eyes of the ones that refuse to acknowledge Jesus as Savior. 2Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. When this happens people will be deceived as Eve was. 2Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. The only thing is that Eve knew God and walked with Him in the garden. Most people that reject Jesus probably don’t get that opportunity, but Holy Spirit will convict until they reject Him and there is no more hope. I believe we should pray for revelation, not only for ourselves but for those that we are close to. Let me give you some scriptures I confess and pray with; and maybe these will benefit you and your family. Ephesians 1:17 I Pray the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, gives to (put you and your family’s name here) the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You :18 the eyes of our understanding are enlightened, that we know the hope of our calling, and what is the riches of the glory of our inheritance in the saints, Isaiah 11:2 the Spirit of the Lord, shall rest on us, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jesus, Jehovah. Jeremiah 33:3 We call to You, and You will answer us; and will tell [& show] us great and mighty things; we do not know. Psalms 119:18 Open our eyes and we will see wonderful things from Your Law I just felt led to put in one about your children. Isaiah 49:25 But thus said the LORD, for I will contend with him that contends with you, and I will save your children. Psalms115:14 The LORD shall increase me more and more, me and my children.

If you have decided to serve the Lord, and are doing something in His kingdom, the devil will try to do what he can to either stop you, or discourage you. Many times before we start going wholeheartedly for the Lord, things seem to progress ok. When you start messing with the devil’s kingdom, (i.e. doing things for the Lord is messing with the devil’s kingdom,) you are going to get attacks. Usually where he will start is either in your physical body, or your finances. When this happens, ask the Lord if there is something you are doing wrong, and then start taking authority over the devil. Either case you will want to quote scriptures. In the case of finances, start cursing the spirit of poverty, and start claiming what you will need, and ask the Lord to go above and beyond.
Here are some scriptures.

If we don’t respect God’s Word, we won’t respect His voice when He speaks to us. James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. If we learn His voice, and don’t learn His Word, we will have the opportunity of walking in deception. His will is His Word. 2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, He can’t write something and say something different or He world be a liar. Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie That is why He wrote it so that we won’t get carried away by some strange doctrine. Ephesians 4:14 That we from now on be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Satan can imitate what God does like He did with Moses before the Pharaoh. Exodus 7:10 – :12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. Our feelings can be deceptive and make us think it is God instead of our feelings. Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (He will send supernatural peace and/or joy to confirm what He tells us or leads us to do) The most reliable thing we have is God’s Word. Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words (logos, written word) shall not pass away Even with that we can get in to error. How do we stay out of error? Stay in the Word, stay in fellowship and be led by Holy Spirit, Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. and stay in fellowship with God’s people, because God compared His body (body of Christ) with the natural body, and we can not function in God’s kingdom without having fellowship with the body of Christ. Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching. If we don’t discern the body (walk in love), we have the opportunity of not only being deceived, but for sickness to invade our life, and even death. 1Corinthians 11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

I was listening to Dr. Lester Sumrall talking about being the light of the world in his series of lessons on demons and deliverance II. He said the challenge of this world is to get rid of demonic manifestations. He said all we have to do to get rid of darkness is turn on the lights. Someone turned the lights on in the sanctuary where he was ministering. Before that it was dark. He said we don’t have to curse the darkness and stomp your foot, all we have to do is turn on the light, and turn it on brighter. We need to get rid of the demonic manifestations. He said it is the lights that make the rats run in their hole, and we need to make it so bright they can’t stand the brightness. We just have to mash the button to turn on the lights. He said he wanted to be God’s button. I believe we should all have that attitude.

The Lord wants to bless you. Atmosphere makes an incredible difference. That is one reason Kathryn Kuhlman and Benny Hinn have seen a lot of healings in their ministry. Because during their meetings, there would be a phenomenal worship among the believers, & a mighty anointing ushered into where they were at. The anointing will break the yoke. Isaiah 10:27. Several years ago I ministered to a young woman that was taking several prescribed drugs. After I prayed, she said she cut them in half and it produce good results. She tried to stop them but wasn’t able. The next Sunday during the church worship service, the worship leader said to put you heart on the Lord and ask Him for what you need. She said she did and after she walked out of there, she never had to take another one of the drugs. If you have a church that has an exceptional worship service that exults the Lord, as you worship Him and have your mind on Him, it makes it much easier to believe for what you need, be it physical, financial, mental or emotional. So when you are in the worship service is a good time to not only worship, but believe for great and mighty things. You can also put on a worship song during your prayer time and bring an atmosphere that will break the yoke, even at home. When you do, don’t stop believing when you walk out, but keep on confessing.

RECEIVE REVELATION FROM GOD

Wisdom and revelation comes from God. We must 1st acknowledge and believe that the Bible is the Word of God and there is no error in it. 2Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private (personal) interpretation. :21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. The Word of God needs to be handled accurately. The only way we can know what is in it, is by reading and studying it. 2Timothy 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing (correctly teaching) the Word of Truth. We also need to learn from someone that is anointed and has knowledge in the Word of God. Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
We have to be willing to receive it, let it teach and correct us. 2Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,:17 that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Knowledge and wisdom come from spending a lot of time in the Bible, even be devoted to it and make it a daily habit. Proverbs 2:1 My son, if you will take my words to your heart, storing up my laws in your mind :2 So that your ear gives attention to wisdom, and your heart is turned to knowledge;:3 Truly, if you are crying out for good sense, and your request is for knowledge;:4 If you are looking for her as for silver, and searching for her as for stored-up wealth;:5 Then the fear of the Lord will be clear to you, and knowledge of God will be yours.:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge and reason: :7 He has salvation stored up for the upright, he is a breastplate to those in whom there is no evil; :8 He keeps watch on the ways which are right, and takes care of those who have the fear of him.:9 Then you will have knowledge of righteousness and right acting, and upright behaviour, even of every good way.:10 For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasing to your soul;:11 Wise purposes will be watching over you, and knowledge will keep you; It helps to ask for wisdom and revelation. James 4:2 You do not get things because you do not ask for them!

Jesus tells how important finding knowledge and revelation is in these parables. Matthew 13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.:45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls,:46 who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it. Knowledge from the Bible is worth more than anything else that we will ever have. The Bible gives us the revelation of the kingdom of heaven.

Paul prayed for revelation for the church at Colossus, and the church at Ephesus. If we will consistently pray these prayers and quote the scriptures, you will be amazed at how much revelation you will receive. This is not something you can do one or two times, but it must be an ongoing event over an extended period of time, possibly daily, for months and even years. (Depending on how much revelation we want to receive). It is work. In fact I believe it is wisdom to do it all of your life. Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, (put your name here, and the names of your loved ones) and to desire that ye(we) might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; :10 That ye(we) might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; :11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Ephesians 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; :17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you (us) the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him::18 The eyes of your(our) understanding being enlightened; that ye(we) may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,:16 That he would grant you(us), according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;:17 That Christ may dwell in your(our) hearts by faith; that ye(we), being rooted and grounded in love,:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; :19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye(we) might be filled with all the fulness of God.

RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST

This is from my book “60 Spiritual Lessons — Making Sense of the Bible”

When Jesus returns (His 2nd coming), He will come in the same way He ascended. We will see Him in the sky. Acts 1:11 And said, O men of Galilee, why are you looking up into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come again, in the same way as you saw him go into heaven. He did not leave on a white horse, and He will not return on a white horse.” When the Bible talks about Jesus on a white horse; horses and chariots are symbolic of spiritual warfare. Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. There is no question this is talking about Jesus. In the 1st chapter of John’s gospel we see where Jesus is called the Word of God, and of course He is often referenced as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.:2 the same was in the beginning with God. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. If we look at the Old Testament when Elisha was surrounded by an army from Syria, his servant asked what shall we do? Elisha prayed for God to open his eyes and here is what he saw in the heavenlies. 2Kings 6:15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? :16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. (notice that if we are walking with Jesus, there are more angels with us, to help us out, than with Satan) :17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. When the bible talks about chariots with horses, an angel told Zechariah that they were representative of spirits, or angels. Zechariah 6:1 I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.:2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;:3 And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.:4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?:5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

One angel is able to strike 185,000 soldiers. Isaiah 37:36 And the angel of the Lord went out and put to death in the army of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand men: and when the people got up early in the morning, there was nothing to be seen but dead bodies. Now when Jesus was about to be crucified, He said He could call on 12 legions of angels. Matthew 26:53 Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? During this time a full Roman legion had somewhere between 2,000 and 6,000 foot soldiers, and about 700 horses. So that would lead to over 24,000 foot soldiers, and if one could kill 185,000, they could take care of 4,500,000,000 people easily (all of the people in the world is about 7 billion). But the Bible say’s that Jesus will slay the antichrist; 2Thessalonians 2:8 then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.:9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,

So God or Jesus doesn’t even need the angels, He has the power just to say the word, and all people would no longer exist. In fact, He provides the very air we breathe, and He could instantly remove it and all people would perish. Colossians 1:17 He (Jesus) he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Although Jesus has the ultimate power, He has given man the option to choose, the opportunity to repent, and turn their lives over to Him, with the ability to walk in His power. All they have to do is submit to Jesus as Savior.
When Jesus returns, He will set up His kingdom, for the millennium, or 1,000 year reign Revelation 20: Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.:7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison,

SUBMISSION AND AUTHORITY

One of the more important doctrines of the Bible, and I believe one of the most misunderstood is in the area of submission and authority. The reason most peoples are in prison is because they have never understood this. If people refuse to follow in submission, they will always suffer for it. Submission is not only following the authority, but it is also following laws. 1Timothy 1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for murderers,:10 For fornicators, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for enslavers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; The righteous should always be willing to do what is right in every circumstance. God said He would write the laws on our heart, so someone totally submitted to Holy Spirit, He will show Him what is right to do. Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, said the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

God loves a servant’s heart. Matthew 20:25 But Jesus called them to him, and said, You know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority on them.:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whoever will be great among you, let him be your minister:27 And whoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

The apostle Peter said it’s better to suffer for what is right than for doing wrong. 1Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme:14 Or to governors, as to them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.:15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men::16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.:17 Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. :18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the fraudulent.:19 For this is thank worthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.:20 For what glory is it, if, when you be buffeted for your faults, you shall take it patiently? but if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is acceptable with God:21 For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps:

This doctrine is also important when you are working for someone. You are on their time and you are to be a witness, not only in what you say, but especially what you do. A person should not be a clock watcher, but concentrated on the work. A person should not be doing personal stuff such as Facebook on company time. If a persons boss does not want a person to witness on the job, than they need to obey. What ever you do, do not deny who you are in Christ.  Hebrews 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Although this is talking about your pastor, the principle is true for your employer, except he doesn’t watch over your soul. If a person would stop and think about what a boss has to put up with, and the employees that make his work better and easier, is the employees that he is going to promote, and rightly so. That is why advertisement will often say they want a self-starter. Someone that will figure out what to do without asking or waiting to be told what to do all of the time. Some one that will go the extra mile without complaining. During Jesus time, if a soldier told you to pick up his pack and carry it a mile, you were obligated, and here is what Jesus said when they told you to carry it. Matthew 5:41 And whoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him two. It makes for a good witness.

A solder came to Jesus to ask Him to heal his servant. Jesus said he was a man of great faith. Why??? He understood authority. He understood that there was power in submitting to authority. Matthew_8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.:10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Truly I say to you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Heidi Baker would witness to Muslims tribes and would receive great persecution until she said that the Lord showed her to honor the tribe’s chief.

There is a reason to not submit to authority. The only reason is when it disobeys God’s Word (Bible), immoral, illegal, or goes against a person’s conscience. When a Pastor ask you to do something, do it, but 1st check your spirit and if your spirit is quenched, or you feel that is not what the Lord wants, respectfully decline. Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

I believe if a person begins to do something and dislikes what they are doing or are miserable, they need to do something else.

HEALING THE SICK

I have seen many people healed one on one. In fact I don’t remember very many that did not get healed if they let me pray for them. There are a few, very few, but by far the majority got healed, and I am talking about in the hundreds. These were not in a church service, in fact, by far the majority of the one’s I’m talking about were not even close to a church building, but some were. I spent a year renting a booth at a flee market, and saw many people healed. I saw many people healed while cleaning carpets in their homes. There are other instances also.

I would like to share with you how I do it, so you can do the same. It’s not difficult, and anybody that believes in the power of Holy Spirit can do the same. God is not partial. I can not heal anyone or anything, only God heals, and a person needs to be completely convinced of this. No case is exactly the same in every instance, but many are similar. The most important thing is to listen to Holy Spirit and follow His leading. The 1st thing I do is ask them if I can pray for them. If they say they are not interested, it does no good to go any further. Both parties have to operate in faith, and when one refuses, they are not going to get healed unless God supernaturally steps in. When people are evangelizing to the unsaved, God often heals in an atmosphere of unbelief to show His salvation. In these cases they will let you pray to see if you are what you say you are, but when you are dealing with people that refuse to even let you pray, you are wasting your time. Even Jesus said if they don’t receive you to wipe off your feet and go to a different place. Matthew 10:12 And when you come into an house, salute it.:13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come on it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you:14 And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

I said both parties need to operate in faith. I plan on operating in faith, but it is my intention to bring their faith up to the level to believe (faith is refusing to doubt). To me the most important thing is to show them that the Bible says that healing is for them. I tell them when Jesus died on the cross, which was for our salvation, (I often spread out my arms like He was crucified), but when He was beaten, it was for our healing. I usually quote Isaiah 53:5 he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed. You can also quote 1Peter 2:24 Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed. The main thing is to tell them when Jesus was beaten; that the stripes of His suffering was for their physical healing. They were actually healed 2000 years ago; they just need to know how to appropriate it for themselves today. Then I tell them that Jesus went from town to town healing everyone and every kind of sickness and disease. Although I usually don’t show them the Scriptures, I have them marked in my Bible. I have never had anyone question it, but it would be good to be prepared if they do. Ex. Matthew 8:16, Matthew 12:15, and Matthew 15:30. There are many more examples. I tell them that Jesus said we can do the same thing that He did. Although I don’t show them that Scripture, I want to be able to if they should ask. John 14:12 Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.

Some times I tell them that even Jesus didn’t heal everyone. When He went to his own home town He could do no miracles there only laid His hands and healed a few sick folk, and that was because of their unbelief. I check my spirit and if anything I am about to say seems to quench it, I skip over that part. Matthew 13:58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

I begin to explain that one day Jesus walked by a fig tree in Bethany on His way to Jerusalem and said that no man will ever eat fruit from it again. The next morning as they were returning, Mark 11:21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered! Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering said to them, Have faith in God. Jesus said and you can say to a mountain be removed and cast into the sea, and it will obey you. He said what ever we ask in prayer, it will be done. Jesus said Matthew 18; 18, 19 what ever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and what ever we loose on earth, God will loose it in heaven. Or in other words, what we speak in faith and believe under His leadership, God will do it. He said if 2 or more agree on anything, God will do it.
I begin to tell them of several of the many people I have prayed for that was healed. If you don’t have your own testimony, tell them of healings that you know about. I prayed for a woman with cancer and she called me the next week and said God healed her of her cancer. I’ve talked to her for several years and she is still healed. I prayed for a woman that was blind in one eye and was on oxygen. She had been operated on twice, and the doctors said she would never see out of that eye again. A little later I saw her jumping up and down with the oxygen off and saying she could see out of that eye. I prayed for a man his wife told me had had a stroke. I laid my hands on him and told him to do something he could not do. He started walking and his wife said he could only drag his leg before. I saw both of them 2 years later and she told me he was still a lot better than before I prayed for him. I prayed for a woman that took morphine every 4 hours. After I prayed, she said later it had been 6 hours with no pain and that was over 15 years since she had been able to go that long without morphine. I prayed for a woman that had been in bed 3 days and had not eaten in 3 days. I told her to get up and eat. She got up and ate, and when I went back the next morning she was eating breakfast.

I ask them if they are hurting any where and when they tell me where, I ask them if I can lay my hand on their forehead. When they say yes, I ask them to raise their hand up in a position to receive from God. I lay my hand on them and I tell them to imagine the Holy Spirit coming down from heaven and touching them. At this time I start praying what I feel is appropriate. Sometimes I take authority over what ever the problem is. If their back is hurt, sometimes I say I command this pain to go away in the name of Jesus and for the back to be healed. Sometimes I just say in the name of Jesus (I always say in the name of Jesus whether I command or pray) I speak to this back and for it to be healed. If it comes to my mind, I command doubt and unbelief to leave. What ever I feel that come to me, I do, but I also am not about to do anything that could possible embarrass anyone. That can undo anything that is about to happen. If I feel I don’t have the faith, I just say, “God, I love you very much, and you said I could ask for anything, so I ask for the healing of this person. This in itself is a very powerful prayer. I don’t have space to go into it, but some times I speak authority over it, and sometimes I pray over it depending on how I feel led by Holy Spirit. Remember that faith does not doubt, kick doubt out if it tries to enter and command it to leave. Refuse to doubt.

I had told them to imagine the Holy Spirit coming down from heaven to touch them, and I do the same thing. I can actually fell the power of the Holy Spirit coming down and touching them. The power seems to bypass me, but I can still feel it. When I feel the power of the Holy Spirit touching them, I say “there it is”. I back up and ask them if the pain is gone. If they say it is still there I ask them if the pain is better. When they say yes, I do it again. I will keep doing it until the pain is gone, or I feel like I am not making any more progress. I tell them miracles are instant, but healing is a process and sometimes takes days. If they will speak every day that they are better, their healing will become complete. I also tell them that if the pain returns, to rebuke it and tell it to leave, because the enemy will send a diversion to try to make them accept the problem again. I know a man that had a growth on his wrist, and cursed it every day for a year. One day he looked down, and it was no longer there. I tell them to be careful and not confess that the sickness has come back or that they were never healed, because a person can lose their healing if they accept it again. I tell them to not ask the Lord to heal it again but to begin to think and praise Him for the healing, and continue to speak healing and health.

When I start to pray and they tell me they don’t have any pain, sometimes I just lay my hands on them, pray over them, and let it go at that. One woman that was healed of cancer, I just prayed what I thought the Lord wanted me to pray without going through imagining the Holy Spirit touching them. I felt nothing, and to my knowledge, she felt nothing. Sometimes just speaking it in faith is all a person need. A person doesn’t have to feel anything to be healed, and sometimes trying to wait for a healing will cause unbelief. This is why I say, follow the leadership of Holy Spirit. Will you make mistakes, possibly, but there was never a person except Jesus that lived without making mistakes, but don’t let that stop you, just keep doing it. A woman named Heidi Baker that is a missionary in Mozambique said she prayed for the blind every time she saw them for a year, and never saw one healed. She would stop on the street and go pray for them and there were quite a few where she was at. After the year, she said she prayed for 3 women in 3 days that had white eyes turn gray and then brown. They were all healed instantly. After that she has seen many blind eyes that were healed, cripples walk, the deaf hear, and hundreds raised from the dead.
I believe this should be taught in every church that believes that Jesus still heals.

WHY DO PEOPLE SUFFER

Why do innocent children suffer? We see people in war torn parts of the world and in parts that are devastated by drought, where people starve to death, seemly no fault of their own. There are laws that govern our physical world. God created us to operate in these laws. If we operate within these laws, our lives will function much better than if we operate against or in opposition to the laws. For example the law of gravity is a physical law. It doesn’t matter how old you are, how young you are, how smart you are or how ignorant. It doesn’t matter what your race is or color of your skin. Even if someone is unaware of the law, or an infant that’s not responsible to know about them, the laws are still in effect. If anyone falls off the top of a building, pushed, or thrown, the law still works. There are laws that override other laws, such as aerodynamics override the law of gravity (this is why air planes fly). There are also spiritual laws. There is a law of sin and death. Romans 8:2 the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. There’s a law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that overrides the law of sin and death. Sin and death is what causes the world to suffer.

To understand this better we need to know the purpose of the original creation. When God created the world, He told Adam to take dominion, or rule the earth. Geneses 1:27 God made man in his image, in the image of God he made him: male and female he made them. :28 And God gave them his blessing and said to them, Be fertile and have increase, and make the earth full and be masters of it; be rulers over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing moving on the earth.   God gave Adam the authority to rule over the earth. He gave instructions to eat of any tree except the tree of good and evil. Because Adam listened to the serpent and disobeyed, he turned his authority over to Satan, and Satan became the god of this world.  2 Corinthians 4:3 if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those being lost,:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them.  When someone won’t receive the Word of God they are blinded by Satan. God gave man authority, but we no longer have authority over the entire earth because of sin. God’s people only have authority in their own lives and the lives of their families, (where they rule) and ones submitting to the authority they have, (this is why prayer works). People that do not know Jesus are under the authority of the god of this world or Satan. It is Satan’s will for people to suffer.

It is God’s will for people to be free from suffering. Jesus came to take care of sin by dying on the cross 1John 1:7 if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, we are all united with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son makes us clean from all sin. Jesus said that He came to give us life, and life more abundant. John 10:10 The thief (Satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. So we have a choice. We can choose God’s way of life, one that is more abundant or one that causes suffering. The difference is, knowing Jesus Christ and His Word (Bible). This doesn’t mean you won’t suffer as a follower of Jesus, but it does mean that God will give you supernatural help as His child if you call on Him.

1Peter 3:12 the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. :13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; Our authority and righteousness (right standing with God) is totally dependent on what Jesus did on the cross and His resurrection. He took our unrighteousness, we were given His righteousness. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all (everyone) as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags. When we take on Jesus’ righteousness, we become righteous. Romans 5:17 by one man’s offense death reigned by one, much more they who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ. So when we receive Jesus as our Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit, and become righteous, (we have a right standing with God). With a right standing with God, we have the God of the universe willing and able to help us when we call on Him. Because sin entered the world through Adam, so did sickness, pain, and suffering, and without having a relationship with Jesus, we have no guarantee to overcome. Unless we are taught how to overcome and how to take authority over the works of the devil, we will still walk in darkness. This is also why God has blessed the United States of America. It is because of its foundation on Biblical foundations, and God’s principles.
